The Jesuit Institute is an institute at Boston College that promotes research and collaborative activities that address issues at the intersection of faith and culture and that promote the Catholic and Jesuit character of Boston College. It was established in 1988 and was initially funded by the Jesuit community at Boston College. The current director is Father James F. Keenan, S.J.. It is housed in the Faber House at Boston College and is located on College Road, close to Gasson Hall and the Bapst Library.

Catholic Commons was started in January 2006 while Dr. John P. Workman, Jr. was a visiting fellow at the Jesuit Institute during a sabbatical from Creighton University.
